To heat my dacha I chose and installed a Brandenburg fireplace with a hob, this fireplace is quite easy to install, and in addition to the fact that it heats the house, I also cook food on it, which is quite important. After installing the fireplace and bringing out the pipe, I then, three months later, lined it with decorative brick on the sides, only I did not lay the brick tightly, but left a space between the brick and the wall of the fireplace of 10 cm, which contributes to the free convection of heated air, and the fireplace looked like a brick, it began to look somehow more beautiful and richer.

On the advice of my friend, I bought a Brandenburg Prizma stove-fireplace for my country house of 146 square meters. The most important thing that I liked about this stove-fireplace is that you can connect water heating to it, which I did. An excellent solution to the issue of heating large areas of living spaces. Thanks to this solution, every room in my house is heated. I did not pay much attention to the design. The most important thing for me is quality and reliability.

When I had to decide on heating my house at the dacha, I chose the Brandenburg fireplace stove with a hob. It is quite easy to install, but it is imperative to follow the safety rules during installation. I have an exhaust pipe coming out of the fireplace, at first a simple one made of stainless steel, after the damper, before reaching the ceiling, I installed a sandwich pipe, it goes like this to the end and protrudes 50 cm above the ridge. I sealed the opening in the ceiling with 3 mm thick stainless steel. Although the sandwich pipe itself does not heat up much, I still left a space from the pipe to the ceiling of 30 cm around, which I then closed with stainless steel. This fireplace, of course, just looks in the store. But when I heated it at home, it immediately began to look different, somehow more attractive. With this fireplace you can catch two birds with one stone, and heat the house and cook food. And it’s quite easy to take care of, you need to remove the ash before lighting it, but I haven’t cleaned the chimney yet, I’ve been using it for two years now.

When choosing a heating system for my dacha, I installed a Brandenburg fireplace stove with a cast iron hob. And I was convinced that I did not lose in my choice. Firstly, it is easy to install and looks like a gas stove, it looks especially interesting when you light it and see the flame of burning wood through the door. This stove heats the air in my house, and I have an area of 90 m2 in just 40 minutes. When installing such stoves, fireplaces, of course, you should strictly follow the fire safety rules, they are described in detail in the instructions for the fireplace. And you must not allow water to get on the stove, since the stove gets very hot and it can crack, which I was convinced of when using a brick stove that is in my yard, on the site.

The design of the presented stoves fireplace Brandenburg Of course, it leaves much to be desired, the stove with a hob resembles something like a simple stove and you want to look for where the gas taps are. If we consider the operation of the stove with the accumulator mode for the winter, then this turns out to be a Finnish stove with a separate firebox. So it is probably better to build a Finnish stove completely and it will look much more attractive, especially since you can also attach a hob and an oven to the Finnish stove. The "Brandenburg" itself would be well suited for heating, for example, some kind of workshop in a private house or some other utility building.
