For heating residential and non-residential premises Vesuvius Triumph furnaces are used.

Their design includes:

  • Firebox, formed from two solid casting elements.
  • Fireplace door with the presence of fireproof glass.
  • Combustion intensity regulator (blower).

In the upper part of the firebox there is chimney connection hole and hob for cooking.

Models Triumph 180 and 180 T/O

Bake black color, completed made of cast iron alloy, resistant to sudden temperature changes. Average wall thickness firebox 12 mm. Inside it are additionally provided with stiffening ribs, increasing the volume of metal and the heat capacity of the entire structure. In the upper part of the combustion chamber is installed fire splitter, preventing open flames from penetrating into the flue duct.

Dimensions: 615x485x505 mm. Diameter of the hole for the chimney 115 mm.

"Triumph 180" has heat output capacity of 9 kW/h and is capable of heating rooms with an area of up to 180 m2. Weight of the oven 98-99 kg.

Carefully! Cast iron heating appliances are not designed for continuous operation. Maximum burning time firewood - 8 hours.

The total weight of the heating unit, taking into account the chimney and simultaneous loading of firewood, does not exceed 110 kg, it does not require a foundation. The location of the unit in the room, taking into account fire safety regulations, can be corner or wall-mounted.

The Hurricane line of sauna stoves

Released by the same manufacturer, the Vesuvius Hurricane line consists of 18 models similar in design. The peculiarity of the "Hurricane" devices is double heater: open in the grid around the firebox and closed, located on top. By means of such a structure a comfortable balance of heat and humidity is created, it turns out both a Finnish sauna and a Russian bath, and the outer mass of stones protects from infrared radiation.

  • under the stove and on the floor near the firebox sheet of non-combustible material (steel, asbestos).
  • a fence is installed around the structure, they perform finishing with stone or brick.
  • distance to walls and objects should be not less than 50 cm.

During operation it is important prevent contact of hot parts of the fuel chamber with cold water.

I installed the Vesuvius stove in the bathhouse. At first, it seemed a bit small to me, and when I laid the heater, the steam from it was somehow not enough. Then I built up another fence around the chimney pipe and also laid stones there, the heater immediately became larger and the steam in the steam room became softer. And the heater immediately became at the level of the middle shelf, and before it was somehow below. Therefore, I came to the conclusion that you need to put more stones on the heater, then the heat will be softer and it will be preserved longer.

We have such a stove at work, it has very thick walls more than 1 cm and it heats our room of 160 sq. m. In addition, one of our craftsmen made an exchanger for it and now it heats the adjacent room, our dressing room, by heating the water in the exchanger: it circulates through the pipes, thus heating the additional room. We always have hot tea on this stove and lunch can be easily heated.

I installed a stove in a bathhouse with the firebox moved out to the dressing room. My "Vesuvius" gets very hot, even though it is completely covered with stones, but for safety reasons I installed a brick screen around it. I thought for a long time about how and where to install a hot water tank. The option of installing the tank on the exhaust pipe was immediately ruled out. I still adapted it to the side by slightly changing the design. It turned out well: the water heats up to hot just when the bathhouse warms up. The floors in the dressing room are also wooden and for safety reasons I laid out a 50 cm by 50 cm section in front of the firebox with tiles. And when coal accidentally falls out during heating, nothing terrible happens, especially since it is deepened since the stove is below floor level.

I have the same Vesuvius Triumph-180 stove in my 100 sq. m. workshop. It heats the room quite quickly even in severe frosts. I don’t use the hob there, and I also removed the heat exchanger as unnecessary, it already gives enough heat and it’s enough for me for a day, and if it gets cold, it won’t take long to add firewood. I brought a 115 mm. diameter stainless steel pipe from this stove through the ceiling above the roof by 50 cm. Since the ceiling is wooden, I ran a sandwich pipe 40 cm from the ceiling. When using the stove, you must not allow a large amount of water to get in, in addition to the appearance of humidity in the room, the stove can also crack since it is cast iron. And the most important thing is that every day before firing it up, I clean it of ash and remaining coals.

I also installed the Vesuvius stove in the bathhouse, I think it's a pretty good option. The entire stove is covered with stone after installation, the total area of the heater increases. The metal itself is closed, which creates good conditions for uniform heating of the bathhouse, although you will have to heat it a little more than with an open stove. My firebox is brought out to the dressing room. In the bathhouse itself, the stones are heated from the firebox and from the exhaust pipe. When installing the stove, it is important to observe all distances from the stove to combustible dimensions. The wood begins to smolder even without touching the hot metal. And if it is decided to bring the firebox channel to the dressing room, then it would be more appropriate to order a log house with 4 walls, and lay out the wall where the firebox channel will be from brick.
