I installed a Biryusa stove in my bathhouse, made the firebox on the side of the changing room. So the stove heats normally, but the water boils quickly and there is always steam in the bathhouse, I had to move the hot water tank to the side, and added more stones on top instead of it, so I got 2 heaters, and the stove began to work better. I used it for less than a year, only 10 months, stoked it once a week and rarely 2 times. After 10 months it burned out, gases began to enter the bathhouse. After that, I dismantled this stove and built a brick one, and for three years now without problems. I want to say that if anyone loves or wants an iron stove, it is better to install a cast iron one, and the firebox should be right in the bathhouse, and not in an adjacent room, then at least it will be easier to change it later.

All the stoves presented have their pros and cons, of course. But nothing is ideal. I have a Termofor stove in my bathhouse, the stove works fine, and its heater can be increased by installing an exhaust pipe, which is what I did. Whoever is going to install such stoves - there are many options for installing a hot water tank, and the only thing I do not recommend installing the tank on the exhaust pipe, it will be less convenient and the water will boil quickly. And so it is better to lean the tank a little against the stove or install a heat exchanger with the tank removed to the washing compartment if the bathhouse is separate.

I have a small bathhouse of 6.5 sq. m., the washing area is combined with the steam room, I installed the Sayany stove with the outlet of the firebox channel into the dressing room, I installed a 58-liter hot water tank leaning it against the wall of the stove. The water heats up just in time for the bathhouse to warm up well. In winter, I have to heat it for about 4 hours, and in severe cold even more. The heating parts of this stove are additionally protected by metal, which creates a flow of heated air, the stove itself is of course very hot and you can even get burned, and therefore you have to be more careful in the bathhouse. To make the stove last longer, when I heat it completely with firewood, I do not fill it with firewood, I leave 30% of the free space in the firebox.

In my small bathhouse there is a stove of the "OSA" type, the stove itself is beautifully fenced and even has convection, the heat flow does not come directly from the heated stove, but through the gap between the stove and the casing, but still this casing is iron and it heats up a lot. Adults are careful, but my children got a little burned on it and then I still lined it with bricks, leaving a distance from the stove to the brick so that it would be possible to freely remove the fallen leaves. I used a half-and-a-half-brick hollow facing brick and laid it sideways, although it is more difficult to knit this way, but in return there were channels through which warm air flows evenly into the bathhouse.

In my bathhouse with an area of 2.7 m * 2.8 m there is a stove of the "Sayany" type, its completely open heater, which hides the entire stove, perfectly warms the bathhouse with a pleasant soft heat. I installed a hot water tank of 80 l on the wall in the bathhouse and it is heated by a heat exchanger on the pipe. The firebox goes into the dressing room. In order not to burn yourself on the heated stove, I built a screen of brick with cells around it, they help spread heat in the bathhouse. The stove itself in the bathhouse is installed so that its bottom is 20 cm below the floors, which makes the floors in the bathhouse warm all the time and they dry faster.
