• drill;
• grinder, electric jigsaw;
• bolts, keys, screwdriver;
• metal corners, fasteners, hinges;
• tape measure, square;
• metal barrel or cylinder.

To protect against injury during work use a mask, glasses, gloves.

Manufacturing stages

1. Barrel cut in half.
2. They are building a stand for the convenience of further work. The stand will serve as legs for the barbecue. For this, take pipes with a diameter of no more than 50 mm and fittings. The height of the legs is selected individually. The dimensions of the stand are calculated in accordance with the parameters of the stand.
3. Clean up the cuts from unevenness and frame them with metal corners.
4. Attach the grille, on which the food preparation will actually take place.
5. The second half of the barrel will serve as a lid. To it weld pre-prepared overlays, screw on the hinges and connect the two halves. On the lid attach wooden pen.
6. On the stand attach wooden or metal table top.
7. They are firing the oven from the inside. To do this, pour 0.5-1 l of diesel fuel, set it on fire and wait until the fire burns out completely. After cooling, wash the barbecue from soot and dry it. The last step will be to cover the finished product with heat-resistant paint.

Sheet Metal Barbecue. Scheme and Dimensions

To build a furnace from sheet steel you will need: tools, indicated above. Instead of a barrel or cylinder, take a sheet of metal.

• They are transferring previously made drawing from a sheet of paper to metal. Using a grinder cut out the details side plates, cover and bottom.
• Edges details are welded welding machine. Drill perforation is done on the side walls. The distance between the holes is made no more than 50 mm.
• Using loops the lid is attached.
• The legs are being mounted from metal corners. If desired, they weld the table top.
• Attach the grille for frying and make cuts for skewers.

Disassemblable models are made in a similar way, only instead of welding they use bolts.

How to place a barbecue on the site?

The stove or barbecue is located in the yard in the recreation area. The furniture is placed so that the barbecue can be approached from both sides. Then it is convenient to cook together, and the safety rule is followed. In case of fire, it will be possible to leave the dangerous area.

If the area does not allow for garden furniture to be placed around the barbecue, a path is made to it. The path can be paved with bricks. Recreation area space should not be slippery, especially during rain, so it is covered with gravel or crushed stone.
